Webinar #1: “Understanding Inheritance and Prevention”

On 26 July 2025, we successfully launched the Aarogyam Webinar Series—a three-part educational initiative under Project Ujjwal aimed at expanding community understanding of anemia and thalassemia screening in underserved regions. Conceptualized and led by our team lead, the series bridges medical knowledge and community action, complementing our fieldwork through testing camps and the distribution of multilingual brochures.

The inaugural session, titled “Understanding Inheritance and Prevention”, was moderated by the Founding President of the Thalassemia Society of India as the keynote speaker. The discussion addressed methodologies of mitigating issues surrounding heritable conditions, and the crucial role of early testing and diagnosis, as well as effective management.  

With over 200 participants, ranging from NGO professionals to public health students, the webinar concluded with a dynamic Q&A.
